Keanan joined us as a Trainee Automation & Smart Home Technician in late 2025 after returning from a year backpacking across Asia. He traded sunbathing on untouched white‑sand beaches, swimming with whale sharks, and sailing down the Mekong River for the true beauty of his home streets of Bolton.

With a background in the domestic building trade, Keanan knows his way around a construction site long before the smart tech arrives. He’s no stranger to site safety — or to the joy that modern power tools can bring. As the proud holder of a First Class Degree in Business Studies & Economics from Bangor University, we’re confident his experience and studies will serve him well as he progresses in his role.

Keanan will be training across the key areas of our business while specialising in Door Automation Design, Installation & Maintenance, working towards a City & Guilds NVQ and National Diploma in this field. Alongside this, he’ll receive in‑house training in security, access and control technologies — the perfect opportunity to put his adaptability and problem‑solving skills to the test as he develops into a hands‑on Engineer of the future.

Outside of work, Keanan is a lifelong Liverpool FC supporter (even through the dark days of Roy Hodgson and Rickie Lambert). He’s also a long‑suffering Ferrari F1 fan, proving his impressive tolerance for highs, lows, and questionable decision‑making. He’s passionate about music, trying new foods, and adding a frankly unnecessary amount of crisps to his sandwiches. When he’s not following sport, you’ll find him at music festivals or behind a drum kit — providing a creative outlet that can be marginally louder than some of the sound systems we install!
