Conor joined us as a Trainee Automation & Smart Home Technician in late 2025, driven by a desire to progress further within the electrical and allied industries. After spotting an advert for a technical role with Levland Ltd, the opportunity to work more closely with technology and automation felt like a natural next step while youth was still on his side!

Having gained City & Guilds Electrical Installation Levels 2 & 3 at Salford City College and worked as an Electrician’s Mate for nearly six years, Conor decided it was time to progress onto an NVQ qualification and focus his skills within an engineering role.

He will be training across the key areas of our business while specialising in Door Automation Design, Installation & Maintenance, leading to a City & Guilds NVQ and National Diploma in this field. Alongside this, we will provide in‑house training in various security, access and control technologies, giving him the chance to build on his existing knowledge and develop new problem‑solving skills in areas that have always interested him.

Known for his calm, easy‑going nature, Conor approaches his work with a steady, stress‑free mindset and a focus on doing the job right. He isn’t afraid to get stuck in when the job demands it and takes real satisfaction in completing an installation.

Outside of work, you’ll sometimes find him holding a golf ‘bat’ while doing something called “golfing”, or supporting his beloved Bolton Wanderers — often with a well‑earned pint in hand – although we think it’s sometimes to soften the blow of the result!
