let's meet simon...

Simon is the founder of Levland Ltd and the go-to expert for all things tech.  He established the company with Helen in 2004, originally as an electrical contracting business.  A qualified electrician with over 30 years of experience, Simon has an extensive knowledge of electrical systems – if it has cables, he understands it!

His career began as an electrical apprentice with ICI Chemicals & Polymers before moving to Calor Gas Ltd, where he advanced to Operations Manager.  His expertise spans hands-on engineering, management, and technical problem-solving.  Whether it’s figuring out which tech integrates best or matching the right products to customer needs, Simon’s skill set is invaluable – not to mention, he’s responsible for running the company too!

Known for being a chatterbox, Simon can talk endlessly about his favourite topics – tech (of course), cups of tea, cakes, and roller coasters.  Be warned: if you’re in a rush, don’t get him started!

His commitment to customers is unmatched, sometimes to extreme lengths – he once sold his own (brand-new) bathroom LED lamps to help a client meet a deadline, leaving Helen literally in the dark for days.  Needless to say, she wasn’t thrilled, but the customer certainly was!

Simon also has a passion for singing… though the team has implemented strict singing credits to protect their ears.  Sam and Danny issue these credits sparingly, and when Simon’s out in the van with them, both ABBA and impromptu concerts are strictly banned!

As Managing Director, Simon takes steering Levland Ltd seriously, balancing professionalism with a culture of learning and fun.  He believes in investing in people and fostering an environment where growth and collaboration thrive.  The team often wonders what ambitious idea he’ll come up with next – but as always, his plans seem to work out.  And when they don’t?  Well, in Simon’s words, it’s just a learning curve!
