Helen plays a pivotal role at Levland Ltd, overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the company runs smoothly.  While Simon and Sam may enjoy spending the money, Helen ensures every penny is accounted for – earning her the well-deserved title of guardian of all things financial.

With a background in secretarial work, sales, and recruitment – including several years with Manpower Group – Helen’s experience is vast.  She co-founded Levland Ltd with Simon and has been by his side from the very beginning (or as the team jokingly suggests, since the dawn of time!).

As Company Secretary, Helen manages bookkeeping, accounts, Tax, VAT, Payroll, and CIS, liaising with HMRC, Companies House, accountants, suppliers, and regulators such as the Pensions Regulator and Planning Authorities.  She also works with ADIA and CSCS, supporting Simon, Sam, and Danny in regulatory matters.  Helen assists customers, building contractors, and architects in fulfilling their CDM responsibilities and organizing O&M files for project compliance.

Beyond financial administration, Helen keeps a close eye on site activities and the latest ideas emerging from the team.  Her extensive knowledge of the business and operations ensures that Simon, Sam, and Danny stay on track – despite their best efforts to wind her up!  Fortunately, Helen always has the upper hand – she’s the one handling payroll.

Helen describes herself as “the woman who knows what’s going on” and is known for her no-nonsense, practical approach – a trait appreciated by colleagues and customers alike.  She has an unwavering love for spreadsheets, making Excel her go-to tool, and has little patience for incorrect invoices that create unnecessary work.  Oh, and one more thing – she’s not a fan of Simon’s singing!
